Vicente, who have worked with DENR for at least 10 years and CENRO for 3 years, is a Person with Disability (PWD). He suffered an accident while doing his field work as one of the department’s foresters. He was the recipient of a new prosthetic leg as part of the Xantheng’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

CENRO Romel Suba, together with Mr. Mark Joseph Alvarez, welcomed the group. “We are excited that one of our teammates is going to be awarded with this donation from Xantheng and MSK.”, said Alvarez.

“What started off as a simple request through a Facebook post, became a reality through the efforts of MSK and Xantheng. We are very happy to be a part of the process to help our fellow foresters. Especially Forester Gideon, who maintained his positive attitude despite everything that has happened. We need a lot of positivity in our line of work.”  PENRO Raul Mamac said in his inspirational message.

In a written message, Pres. Su Kuo-Fang and Mr. Kelly Uy of MSK Group Work, Inc. said “we would like to extend our thanks to the hardworking people of CENRO Bataan. Despite the ongoing pandemic, they continue to give their very best in assisting companies such as Xantheng. We look forward to having a more fruitful relationship with CENRO in the future and continue to improve the community and the environment as a whole”.

During his acceptance speech, For. Vicente said that he, as well as his family, could not contain their excitement since last night. “This is a huge relief for me because I have been using my old one for 9 years. Sometimes, I even borrow tools from the office just to help me fix my leg. At least now, I can continue to work, even at the office. I still need to adjust to the new one but I will be able to adapt. Thank you very much to Xantheng, MSK and PENRO for this.”
